Jamieka S. Miller

Jamieka S. Miller, 22, of Wilkes-Barre, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 28, 2017.

She was born in Wilkes-Barre to Michelle Miller on September 29, 1995.

Jamieka was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre. She participated in the groups Autism Speaks, Parents and Professionals, and S.A.F.E., Supporting Autism Families Everywhere, with Director Dolphus Teart and her Great Aunt Sandra. She loved listening to gospel music, going on car rides, skating and swimming.

She was preceded in death by her great aunt, Gladys Miller.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Michelle Miller, a brother, Christopher Miller, a sister, Brittany Miller, her Great Aunts, Sandra Lee and Patricia Burton, her aunts, Juanita Burroughs and Jeannette Roberts, an uncle, David Miller, her nephews, Elijah Miller and Jahkari Miller, her nieces, Kamyrah Miller and Reina Nin, a close cousin, Janel Bonner, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Homegoing Services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church 105 Hill St. Wilkes-Barre. Officiating will be Pastor Michael Brewster.
Family and friends are invited to call at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery
