Shirley Ann Fisher, 68, of Kingston, passed away on Thursday, February 13, at Residential Hospice Inpatient Unit, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 12, 1951, in Walterboro, S.C., she was a daughter of the Mollie (Grace) Kittrell, Kingston and the late Cleveland Kittrell.
Shirley graduated from George Windgate High School, Brooklyn N.Y. and worked for Bosch and Lomb in Florida.
She was also a homemaker, caregiver and loved spending time with her family. Shirley had a strong belief in her faith.
She was preceded in death by; her husband, James Fisher, Feb. 27, 2002, her daughter, Yolanda Taylor, June 8, 2014 and grandson, Marquese Montel Taylor, December 22, 1997.
In addition to her mother, Shirley is survived by her loving fiancé, Merlin Thomas, a son, Courtney Fisher, Kingston, A daughter, Tasha Baldwin, her grandchildren, Cortes Adams, Marquesse McKenith, Jaheim McKenith, Corshella Fisher, Ashton Fisher, Nattie Fisher, Amya Fisher, Thea Fisher, Nalaya Fisher, Michael Eugene Taylor, Jr., Latisha Taylor, Bobby Harper, great grandchildren, Haven Adams, Michael Eugene Taylor, III, Yanaliz Sarabella Taylor, Lizyana Sky Taylor,
a sister, Mary Bedard, three brothers, Willie, Frederick and Elijah Kittrell, all of Walterboro, S.C., numerous nieces and nephews.
Home Going Services will celebrated on Saturday, February 22, at 7:00 P.M. from Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral and Cremation Services, 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 till the time of the service.
