Robert “Bob” J. Mack, 75, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Gino Merli Veteran’s Center, Scranton.
Born in Newark, NJ on December 6, 1946, he was a son of the late John and Winifred (Rush) Mack. Bob had a master’s degree in social work and was proud to be a program manager for the rehabilitation program at Catholic Community Services, Jersey City, NJ. He was also proud to serve in the United States Navy.
Bob was known for being outgoing and connecting with people everywhere he went and making lifetime friends. He enjoyed watching and going to sports games with his son, Bryan. Bob also liked listening to music, especially doo wop and Motown and had an appreciation for the arts and creating paintings and sculptures.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Mark Smith.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 13 years, Grace (Adams) Mack; son, Bryan Mack and wife, Tracy and stepson, Paul Smith.
Funeral arrangements were private for the family through Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services.
