Robert C. Graff

Robert C. Graff, 83, of Pittston, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 with his loving wife, Carole by his side at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.

Born in Scranton on January 25, 1940, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Graff.

He was a member of St. Peter’s Cathedral, Scranton and served for many years in the Army National Guard.

Robert enjoyed spending time with his wife, whether it was going to dinner, traveling, or just relaxing at home. Robert and Carole had a wonderful marriage and were soulmates. He was loved dearly by his family and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Joseph “Joey” Girman.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Carol (Polachek) Graff; son, David Girman and wife, Vanessa Capitano; daughters, Helene Girman and partner, Mary Jo Armitage, Lisa Johnson and Jennifer Johnson and Jill Girman; grandchildren, Tori and husband, Kevin Daley, Kaalyn, Joseph, Simon, David Jr. and Daniel Girman and Alexa and David Johnson; and great granddaughter, Alessa Daley.

Private services for the family were entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Avoca.
