Luther H. Watson 70, of Shavertown, passed away on Thursday, January 30, at his home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, on June 15, 1949, he was a son of the late Sherrid O. and Lois M. (Gibble) Watson.
Luther retired from the Housing Authority, Wilkes-Barre. He loved debating politics and working on cars. He could fix just about anything and always enjoyed the challenge. He loved spending time with his family and would do anything for them.
Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Lillian (Atiyeh) Watson, his four loving daughters, Nicole Watson and her fiancé, Jamie Dixon, Luzerne, Krista Watson, Shavertown, Amanda Watson, Shavertown, Cortney Watson, Nanticoke, 4 grandchildren, Mackenzie and Avery Hughes, Tateum Victoria Zimmerman, Kyle Dixon, one great grandson, Ayden Martin Williams, a brother, Butch Watson, Christmas, FL, mother in law, Beb Iane Atiyeh, and a brother in law, who was a great friend, William Atiyeh, Jackson Township, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dag, Coco.
The family will announce a memorial service at a later date.
