Linda L (Roberts) Borum

            Linda L. Borum, 75, of Hanover Township, passed away on Tuesday September 26, 2023, at Allied Hospice. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and daughter.

            Linda was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on May 27, 1948. She was the daughter of Theresa Roberts-Fox of Tavares, Florida, and the late Thomas Roberts, Jr. She graduated from Hanover Area High School and Bradford Beauty School. She was employed by Warp Processing until she retired in 2020. She was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle Church.

            Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going on vacation to Ocean City and Orlando, Florida, and watching the cooking channel and Law & Order reruns.

            Linda was preceded in death by her husband Peter Borum; her father Thomas Roberts, Jr.; her son-in-law Anthony Marcincavage; her grandsons Andrew and Adam Marcincavage, and other family members. 

            Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her children, Tammy Marcincavage of Hanover Township; Peter Borum and wife Ruthann of Jackson Township; and John Borum and wife Jean of Hanover Township; her grandchildren Shane, April, Peter, Tony, Mackenzie, Cody, Danny, Madison, Chase and Luke; her great grandson Carter Stere; her sisters Carol Giamber and Anita Roberts; her brothers Thomas Roberts, William Roberts, and Vincent Roberts. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-laws, nieces and nephews. 

            Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre with the  Reverend Valerie Black, of Baptist Tabernacle, officiating.  Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Interment will be private in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.
