Janice Diane Burdett

Janice D. (Thomas) Burdett, 68, of Moosic, passed away on Saturday evening, April 13th, at Geisinger CMC Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Amelia (Griffiths) Thomas. 

Janice was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Scranton.  She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Jeanne Ann Jason Klinkel, Barbara Cotter, brothers, Charles and Alfred Thomas

Surviving is her loving husband of 50 years, Charles E. Burdett, Moosic, a loving daughter, Tammy and her husband Aaron Phillips, Honesdale, A loving son, Charles T. and his wife, Nicole Burdett, Waymart, four grand children who she adored, Adriana, Aaron Michael, Owen and Boden, a brother, David Thomas and wife, Althea, sister in law, Ann Marie Thomas, several nieces and nephews, and niece, Jeanne Zaloga, who was like a daughter, numerous cousins.
