James E. “Jim” Rosa, 72, of Tunkhannock, passed away on Friday, January 29, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Johnson City, NY, on May 11, 1948, he was the son of the late James C. and Edith Marie (Frost) Rosa.
Jim worked as a liquor salesman for 20 years before he retired to spend more time with his family.
Early on Jim enjoyed coaching his boys in Little League. He continued his love of sports by watching his grandchildren play baseball, basketball and football. He was a life long NY Giants and NY Yankees Fan.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Jeanne (Knifer) Rosa, three loving sons, Rik and his wife, Sherri, Jordan and his wife, Heather and Ryan Rosa, 7 grandchildren, Austin, Gavin, Isaiah, JJ, Rylee, Alex and Silas, brother in law, Eric and his wife, Sarah Knifer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in laws, Richard and Jean Knifer.
Private services will be held from Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Wilkes-Barre.
