Howard B (Neely) Neely

Howard B. Neely, Sr., 88, of Plymouth, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes Barre.
Born in Plymouth Twp., on April 29, 1934 he was a son of the late Vernard and Leona (Young) Neely.
After high school, Howard married the love of his life, Cora, together, they raised a large loving family. He worked as a coal miner for many years, and later went on to work in construction. Howard built their family home with his own two hands and once again, he rebuilt it after the flood of 1972. He was a hard working man who loved spending time with his wife and family. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and woodworking.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cora (Carey) Neely; a son, Howard B. Neely Jr.; brothers, Donald Neely, Vernard Neely; sisters, Ruth Neely, and Hazel Neely.
Howard is survived by sons, David W. Neely, Matthew Neely, Brian K. Neely, Ronald Neely, William Neely, and Albert Neeyl; daughters, Cora Merth (Michael), and Patricia Kintz; a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; sister, Janet Ravert; as well as several nieces, nephews.
A chapel service will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Dallas. Entombment will follow.
