Gerald J Rybak

Gerald J. Rybak, 77, of Hanover Twp., passed away on August 15, 2021, at Birchwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Nanticoke.

Born in Nanticoke on February 17, 1944, he was a son of the late Edward F. and Irene (Krakowski) Rybak.

Gerald was a 1962 Graduate of Nanticoke Highschool and went on to graduate from Kings College in 1966 with a bachelor’s degree. He spent two years in the United States Army Reserve. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a computer analyst and computer programmer for Pioneer Manufacturing. He loved traveling, going to the casino, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Rybak, and his cherished granddaughter, Chelsea Lucille Rybak; sisters in law, Susan Witkowski, Emanuela Kondracki, and Robin Kondracki.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife of nearly 55 years, Gloria Jean (Kondracki) Rybak; sons, Jeffrey G. Rybak, Jamison D. Rybak; daughter, Robin Mesenburg; grandchildren, Valerie J. and Brandon Houser, Casey Rybak, Johnnie Vendetti, Ciera Rybak, Jessie Rybak; great grandchildren, Ryley Grace Houser, and Rowan Luca Houser; and a brother Ronald Rybak (Sandra).

Arrangements were entrusted to Kniffen O'Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, 465 S. Main St. Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date and at the convenience of the family.
