Deborah A. (Relyea) Honors, 67, of East Syracuse, NY, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Post Acute Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Syracuse, NY on September 2, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Ann (Burdick) Relyea.
Deborah worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 20 years doing what she loved most, taking care of others. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and being a gramma/Gigi. Deborah was a breast cancer survivor and despite many medical battles in her life, remained strong and determined to live as long as the lord would allow her to. She will be remembered for her sassy personality and her love of life itself.
Left to cherish Deborah’s memory are significant other, John Honors, III; daughters, Heidi Relyea and Erin (Ryan) McCune; grandchildren, Tyler Mills and Emma McCune; brother, Stanley (Dolli) Relyea; sister, Nancy (David) Mapstone; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and uncle.
A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services.
