Carol J (Allabaugh) Hoggarth

Carol J. Hoggarth, 82, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at her home.
Carol was born July 22, 1938 in Wilkes-Barre to the late William A. and Jean Pohl Allabaugh.
She was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School, Class of 1956.
Carol worked as an auditor for Fowler, Dick & Walker Boston Store, as a bookkeeper for the
family business and then for Harte Hanks until her retirement.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Richard in 1991.
She is survived by her sons, Richard W. (Joan), Hanover Twp.; William A. (Sheryl), Hanover
Twp.; Randy A. (Priscilla), Wilkes-Barre. She is also survived by her grandchildren Richard,
Jason, Jessica, Paige and Bryce.
The family would like to thank the staff of Residential Hospice, especially her nurse, Denise, for
the care and comfort given to Carol.
In accordance with Carol’s wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Services are entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral and Cremations Services, Wilkes-
Barre.
