Bryandt A. Shelly, 47, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, Wilkes-Barre at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Born on July 2, 1976, in State College, Bryandt was the beloved son of Ernestine "Tina" (Flakes) Jones of Wilkes-Barre and the late Lamont Shelly.
From an early age, Bryandt was raised in the Apostolic faith. He attended G.A.R. High School, where he displayed exceptional talent in track and field, particularly in the triple jump. His dedication and skill led him to become a three-time state champion in 1993, 1994, and 1995. After graduating, he continued his education at Penn State University.
Bryandt's vivacious spirit was contagious, and he had a way of lighting up any room with his radiant smile. He cherished the moments spent with his loved ones, and his family held a special place in his heart. Whether he was working out, indulging in video games, or enjoying the harmony of music, he lived life to the fullest.
While Bryandt is preceded in death by his father, he is also mourned by his sisters, Leona Lavette Keatts and Lanee Lee Keatts. Their memories will forever be cherished, and their presence deeply missed.
In addition to his mother, Bryandt leaves behind a niece, Shamicka Harris, and nephews Jeshon Copeland and JeVondrea McClair. They will continue to carry his legacy in their hearts, remembering the love and joy he brought into their lives.
Services will be held on Wednesday, July 12th, at 6pm from Kniffen O'Malley Leffler Funeral and Cremation Services, 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre with Reverend Shawn Walker officiating. A viewing will be held from 5:00PM till the time of the service.
