Bernice Shovlin Obituary
Bernice A. Shovlin, 62, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023 in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on February 16, 1961, she was a daughter of Elizabeth M. (Perez) Shovlin of Wilkes-Barre and the late Joseph Shovlin.
Bernice attended St. Aloysius Grade School and was a graduate of Bishop Hoban High School. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Wilkes-Barre.
Bernice always loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh and watching videos late at night with her grandson.
Surviving are her daughters, Jennifer Shovlin and her partner Jason and Alexis Yancheck and her husband, DJ; Grandchildren, Lucas, Emma, Amaya and Dominik; brother, Thomas Shovlin and his wife, Tina; sisters, Joan Shovlin and her partner, Jeff and son Scott Reiser; Betty Myers and her husband, Dan; and several nieces and nephews.
