William “Bill” Wylie, 74, of Nanticoke, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Larksville on May 11, 1947, he was a son of the late James L. Wylie, Sr. and Stella (Arnot) Wylie.

Bill worked as a press operator at Offset Paperback for over 21 years.  He loved going hunting and deep sea fishing and rescuing any animal that needed a home, especially cats. He was a kind man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Lucina Daniels; brother, James Wylie, Jr. and brother-in-law, Donald Aucker.

Left to cherish Bill’s memory are his loving wife, Audrey M. Wylie; son, William Wylie; stepdaughters, Sandra Rodriguez, Donna Menig and husband, Robert, and Audrey Scholes and husband, Donald Locke; grandchildren, Curtis and Anthony Rodriguez, Robert Menig, Casidhe Menig and fiancée, Jacob Gibbs and Andrew Menig, James and Brittany Scholes and Michaela and Shalenia Locke.; several nieces and nephews; brothers, John and Gary Wylie and sister, Sandra Auker.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 1 at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, 465 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre.  Family and friends may visit from 2 PM – 4PM. Condolences may be sent to kniffenfuneralhome.com
