William Walter Spaide

William Walter Spaide, 80, of Kingston, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late William and Stella (Wenner) Spaide. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Gibbon) Spaide; and son, Jeffery Allen Spaide.

William is survived by his son, William Spaide; his daughters, Jessica and Sharon Spaide; sister, Patricia Kertes; and grandchildren, Derek, Bryonnna, Ché, Jayden, and Erycea.

He will be remembered as a dedicated Husband, Father, and Grandfather. William was an avid Steelers fan and loved to watch them in his free time. He also cooked Sunday dinners and was always tending to his house. He loved to build things, do yard work, tend to his garden, and most of all, spend time with his beloved family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

William’s family would like to thank Dr. James Tricarico and staff for their compassion and care over the years.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, from 3PM-4PM at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral Home, 465 S Main St., Wilkes-Barre.
