William "Bill" C. Spaide

William “Bill” C. Spaide, 70, of Wapwallopen, passed away Monday, October 9th, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on August 11, 1947, in Amsterdam, New York, he was a son of the late Clarence and Agnes (Sacks) Spaide. Bill proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He loved spending time with his two dogs, Blackie and Beethoven. He also enjoyed being outdoors and hunting and playing online poker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia (Woods) Spaide; a daughter, Christina; grandson, Michael Shyner; a brother, Carl and a sister, Susan. Left to cherish his memory is daughters, Tracey Spaide, Wapwallopen, and Belinda Spaide, Mt. Top; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; 3 brothers and 5 sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit Thursday from 4-7 P.M. at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 465 S. Main St. Wilkes-Barre, with services at 7:00 P.M.

Friends may also call Friday morning from 9-10 A.M.
