Virginia “Ginger” (Wottawa) Morris, 58, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born on March 21, 1958, in Seaford, NY, she was a daughter of Mildred (Klein) Wottawa and the late Daniel Wottawa.

Ginger was extremely devoted to her family. She loved spending time with her dogs, Harley, Molly and Karma, listening to music, and had a passion for clothes and fashion.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by father-in-law, Joseph Morris, Sr.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 35 years, Joseph “Joe” Morris, Jr.; sons, Daniel Palma and wife, Denise, William Morris and wife, Jacquelyn McCarthy and Joseph Morris; mother, Mildred (Klein) Wottawa; grandchildren, Daniel, Collette, Patrick, Ava and William Jr.; brother, Dennis Wottawa; sister, Barbara Cornell; and mother-in-law, Minnie Morris.

A visitation honoring Ginger’s life will be held Monday, April 4th, from Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Wilkes-Barre. Family and friends may visit from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
