Vincent James "Beeb" Gross

Vincent J. “Beeb” Gross, 72 of Bear Creek Township, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.

Born in Bear Creek, he was the son of the late Joseph and Beatrice (Yale) Gross.  He was a 1970 graduate of Coughlin High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kings College.

Vincent had worked as a laborer at Addy Asphalt and later went on to work as an operator at Techniglass. He was also a DJ at Skateaway. He was a member of Messiah Church, Bear Creek, where he was involved in various church activities.

Vincent enjoyed trips to Las Vegas.   He also enjoyed going to the Woodlands, where he was known as a legend.  He enjoyed photography and traveling to different places to take photos.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Joseph Hasan.

Surviving are a sister, Sandra Hasan, Bear Creek Twp.; nephews Adam (Jessica) Hasan, Laflin and Sharif Hasan, Bear Creek ; nieces Najia (Mark) Whitesell, Quakertown; Nour Hasan, Quakertown; great nephew Jacob; great nieces Harlowe and Savannah; his life long friend, Michelle Dante and her son, Daimen Fondo;cousins and extended family.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre with the Reverend Hadley R. Hayes officiating.  Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.

Family and friends may call Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m.  and Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
