Thomas Carl Wynder Sr.

Thomas Carl Wynder Sr., 78, of Jenkins Twp., passed away on May 7, 2026.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on March 15, 1948, he was the son of the late James T. and Kathryn (Carter) Wynder.

After graduating from high school, Thomas became an entrepreneur and started his own cleaning company. He was an excellent drummer and played for many different bands throughout the years. He ended his drumming career playing for Stingray.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Carl Wynder Jr., and brother, Donald “Buzzy” Wynder.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his children, Christa Farinella and Nathan Wynder; grandchildren, Jonathan and Victoria; brother, James “Tinker” T. Wynder; sisters, Susan Lucky Wynder and Kathy Lou Waring; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

Services are private for family and close friends.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Wilkes-Barre.
