Theresa P (Spernoga) Kinney

Theresa P. (Spernoga) Kinney, 94, of Harveys Lake, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Allied Hospice, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on March 21, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Jezercak) Spernoga.

Theresa was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake. She enjoyed cooking, especially making cookies and pierogies and watching the Golden Girls. She loved spending time with her family and making sure everyone was taken care of.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Evan Kinney and sisters, Josephina, Frances and Angie Spernoga.

She is survived by her two loving sons, Daniel Kinney and Barry Kinney (Judy Quinn).

Theresa will be laid to rest beside her husband at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Dallas. Funeral arrangements were private for the family from Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral and Cremation Services.
