Theresa Soltis

Theresa Soltis, 73, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at North Penn Manor, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on June 23, 1947, she was a daughter of the late John and Stella (Parfinski) Soltis and was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Parish, formerly St. Patrick’s Church, Wilkes-Barre. She previously attended the former St. Boniface Church, Wilkes-Barre.

Theresa was a volunteer for local food banks and C.E.O. She also volunteered doing different types of community service.  She enjoyed going to church, playing bingo, watching Mother Angelica and listening to music.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Soltis and brother-in-law, Charlie Nestorick.

Surviving are her brother, Joseph Soltis and his wife, Nancy, North Las Vegas, NV; sister, Adeline Nestorick; nieces Trava (Brian) Woelfle, Tessa (Ronald, Jr.) LaMarca, Diane Travinski Regina (Bryan) Palmaioli, (Queens Creek, AZ), and Mary Middleton; nephew, David Soltis; great niece, Angelina Palmaioli, AZ, and great nephew, Bryan Palmaioli Jr., AZ.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.  Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Twp.

Friends may call Thursday morning from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
