Susanna Ogin

Susanna (Arnold) Ogin, 90, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on May 24, 2026.

Born on April 7, 1936, in Slocum Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley R. and Myrtle (Faust) Arnold.

Susanna was a devoted mother to her 10 children; she poured her heart into raising and caring for each of them. In her later years, she found joy in simple pleasures, especially a good game of Bingo or Yahtzee. Susanna loved spending times with her friends and family, but her grandchildren held a special place in her heart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Darlann Lasoski and Deanna O’Boyle; sisters, Ruth, Joan, Roxy, and June; and brother, Ted Ogin.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Brenda Simon, Richard “Ricky” Ogin, Michael Ogin, Debbie Ogin, Alan Ogin, Billy Lloyd, Dawn Hower, and Wendy Lloyd; her sister, Florence May; as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved ones.

A memorial service will be held on June 2, at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral Home, 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. Friends and family may call between 12-4.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Wilkes-Barre.
