Stephen J Rosiak

Stephen J. Rosiak, 61, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on July 31, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after a lengthy battle with liver cancer.

Born on January 14, 1960, in Pittston, he was a son of the late Edward Stanley Rosiak Sr. and Rose Marie (Novak) Rosiak. He graduated from West Side Area Vocational-Technical School in Plumbing and Heating.  Stephen worked as a general contractor, owning his own business, Integrity Plus Builders for 35 years. Stephen enjoyed spending time with his family whether it was baseball with Torey, basketball games with Ariana or scouts with his son, Cody.  Stephen especially enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Ignatius.   He was also a Veteran of the United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division and 109th Field Artillery, Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He was a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Stanley Rosiak Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Lisa C. (Medley) Rosiak; Sons; Torey Lee Medley, Wilkes-Barre, Cody Lee Rosiak (Cassandra), Lake Ariel; daughter, Ariana Rochelle Elizabeth Rosiak, Wilkes-Barre; grandchild, Ignatius Lee Rosiak; Brothers; Thomas Rosiak, Pittston, John “Kevin” Rosiak, Kingston; sisters, Eleanor Giamusso, Pittston, and Mary Rose Rosiak, Wilkes-Barre; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 11:00 AM, with Reverend Shawn Walker officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
