Shirley A (Etter) Pivinski

Shirley A. (Etter) Pivinski “Snookie”, 75, of Hanover Twp., passed away on October 10, 2021, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Wilkes Barre on October 8, 1946, she was a daughter of the late John and Gladys (Roberts) Etter.

After graduation, Snookie went on to be a hostess and server for many years at several local restaurants, namely, The Spa and Nedoff’s, in Wilkes Barre. She loved reading romance novels and watching her favorite mystery television programs. She loved to cook and had a love of animals. She will be sadly missed by her little dog, Rupert.

Snookie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Constant J. Pivinski; son, Stephen Pivinski; brother, John Etter and his wife Sharon; sister, Jane Deschak; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Albright United Methodist Church, 116 Dana St. Wilkes Barre, on Thursday at 10:00 AM, with the Reverend Craig Gommer officiating.
