Sheldon T. Everhart Sr., 76, of Wilkes Barre, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Allied Services Hospice Center Wilkes Barre. Born in Wilkes Barre on May 14, 1945, he was a son of the late T. Sheldon and Sarah (Wolfe) Everhart. Sheldon was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School. He married the love of his life Mary Ann (Cherkauskas) Everhart, together raising a son, Sheldon Jr.. Sheldon was a steel worker for Bridon America for 25 years. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wilkes Barre. Among his many interests and hobbies, he loved spending time with family and friends most of all. In addition to his parents, Sheldon was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Everhart. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of over 52 years, Mary Ann Everhart; son Sheldon T. Everhart Jr. and his wife Dawn; and brothers, Martin and Leonard Everhart. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
