Shawn Nangle

Shawn Paul Nangle, 47, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on August 22, 2025, at his home.

Born in Massillon, Ohio, on November 11, 1977, he was the son of the late Paula Elizabeth Nangle.

After graduating high school, Shawn went on to work for the Logistics Division of Sears for 20 years.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Dorothy Nangle. Surviving to cherish his memory is his aunt, Pam Nangle, and cousin, Roberta Chapman.

In Shawn’s free time, he enjoyed spending time with his son Kolby Heck and his dog Daisy.

Kolby was Shawn’s pride and joy! He loved watching him play soccer and was always on the sidelines cheering him on. They also enjoyed watching football together and playing video games.

Like the rest of Shawn’s immediate family, Shawn suffered from kidney disease. If you feel the need to honor his memory, please donate to the National Kidney Foundation.

Private cremation services have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Wilkes-Barre. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
