Shameek Anthony Bernard

Shameek “Sonnie” Bernard, A.K.A Reckless/El Capo MH Guzman, 28, of Wilkes-Barre, PA has passed away on April 4, 2020, Saturday morning. Born in Brooklyn, New York on November 7, 1991. He is the son of Leaundra “Shuga” Luck, and Patrick Anthony Bernard.

Shameek, enjoyed playing his video games, watching all documentaries, being with his children when he can, listening to music, writing his own lyrics, being a big time jokester, he was always trying to make everyone laugh, a big animal lover, and if you know him like we do he love, loved BOTANY!!!

Shameek leaves behind loving children: Tristian Anthony Dervenak-Bernard, of mother Kayla Dervenak, Josiah Anthony Bernard, Nakiyah Hampton, and Princeton Armani Stokes-Bernard that’s soundly resting with his father, by loving mother Simone “Honey Bun” Stokes.  Along with 8 siblings: Shakira, Medina, Niya, Kirsten, Kerrin, Kaseem, Corese, and Junior. Grandmother Judy “Starrlite” Gentry, and Elizabeth Bernard. Great Grandmother Ruth “Nana” Fernanders. Grandfather: Wesner Bernard. Aunts: Kemesha, Tanae, Shaway, Aikeima, Tracy, and Olive. Uncles: Tison, Rodney, and Dane. Nephews: Josiah and Cash. Cousins: David, Tyshawn, Alissa, Kevon, Miguel, Mark Jr., Shane, Kemel, Cynthia, Koson, Tyrena, Linda, Christopher, Steven, godmother, Gwen Outler-Nelson and a host of other cousins, nieces and nephews.  And formally, but certainly not last Shenique “Neek-Neek” Johnson, was his second Mom. Who Shameek called Neek-Neek since he was 5 years old. Rest in peace my Sonnie.
