Sandra L. (Gabriele) Franks

Sandra L. (Gabriele) Franks, 74, of Bloomsburg, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at her home. Born in Wilkes-Barre on June 18, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Philip and Thelma (Blecher) Gabriele. Sandra graduated from E. L. Meyers High School in 1967 and was a Strutter on the drill team. Sandra lived her life as a dedicated stay at home mom. She found joy in hosting all holiday get togethers at her home in Mt. Top. She also loved shopping, Home Goods was her favorite and traveling. She always said her happy place was on her lanai in her Naples, FL home, drinking a glass of wine. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Helen Blecher, Vincenzo and Caterina Gabriele, and aunt, Claire Hill. Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Alicia Fisher and husband, Andy; sons, Cameron Franks and wife, Kelly Petitjean, and Brian Franks and wife, Beth; grandchildren, Wyatt and Riley Franks; cousins, Brenda and Mark Hill; goddaughter, Casey Burns; godson, Mark Hill, Jr. and former husband, Richard Franks. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, https://www.alz.org Family and friends may pay their respects Sunday from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, 465 S. Main St, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be private for the cemetery.
