Ruth A. (Hughey) Shultz

Ruth A. (Hughey) Shultz, 94, of Hanover Township, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Smith Health Care, Mountain Top.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on February 28, 1921, she was a daughter of the late John and Thelma (Rudd) Hughey.
Ruth enjoyed taking care of her family and spending time with her dogs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Sylvester Shultz; son, Dennis Lloyd; granddaughter, Cheryl Ann Lloyd; grandsons, Dennis and Eugene Lloyd and sister, Viola.
Left to cherish her memory are sons, Robert Lloyd and wife, Kimberley; William Lloyd and wife, Helene and David Lloyd; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; daughter in law, Louise Lloyd; 7 great great-grandchildren; sister, Marion Cavanaugh and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, November 14 from Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre. Family and friends may call from 9:30-10:30 A.M.
