Rosemary A. (Shimkoski) Pilkonis

Rosemary A. (Shimkoski) Pilkonis, 81, of Dupont, died Friday, Jan. 1, 2020 at her home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on Feb. 17, 1939, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Stanish) Shimkoski.

Rosemary was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont, and an activist for International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son; Glen Pilkonis, sisters; Theresa M. Shimkoski and Mary D’Agosta, and brothers; John, Joseph, Edward, and Stanley Shimkoski.

Rosemary is survived by son Jospeh Pilkonis, GA., Grandchildren; Justina Pilkonis, SC, Jakoby Pilkonis, and Tru Pilkonis, GA., brother; Robert Shimkoski, Dupont.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Dupont, PA.
