On Sunday, April 27, 2025, The Lord welcomed into Heaven one of his true miracles, our sister Roseann Robbins. Roseann was 75 years of age at the time the Lord brought her home.
Born in Avoca on August 28, 1949, Roseann was the daughter of the late Jake and Nancy Fuller Robbins.
She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Jeany and Billy Corbett.
Although Roseann was never employed during her lifetime, she did enjoy retiring several years ago.
To her family, Roseann was like the North Star; even when you couldn’t see her, you knew she was always there.
Roseann loved and lived her life. Though afflicted with physical challenges for most of her adult life, they never slowed her down. She loved to go to summer camp, on hayrides, out to eat, to the circus, to Disney shows, and on Jeep rides. She also thought hot coffee, milk shakes, pizza, and KFC were pretty good too. And we cannot forget about her love for Disney’s Frozen.
She had the ability to endear herself to those she interacted with and would let you know exactly how she felt about you.
Roseann is survived by her sister Marylou Mauney and husband Howard, Mooresburg Tn, sister Roberta Donahue and husband Joe, Avoca, brother John and wife Jeanann, Inkerman, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the care givers at Keystone Human Services and Residential Hospice for the care and compassion provided to Roseann and her family during this difficult time. The family would also like to thank Mindy Gunton for being Rosie’s Best Friend.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, May 4, 2025, with the viewing and service from 4pm-6pm at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral Home, 728 Main Street, Avoca, Pa. 18640.
