Robert A. Harvey, 75, of Wilkes-Barre Township, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Celtic Hospice, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on June 4, 1939, he was a son of the late Clyde A. and Stella (Stein) Harvey. He was a graduate of Meyers High school attended Williamsport Tech.
Robert was a veteran of the Army Reserves where he was a Sargent with the 109 th Field Artillery. He was a former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
He was a former manager at Hanover Shoe Company for 10 years. He was later employed by American Silk Company.
He is survived by his brother, Clyde Harvey, with whom he resided and his beloved dog, Casey.
Funeral Services will be held at noon on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, 465 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre with the Reverend Peter D. Kuritz officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
