Beloved father, husband, and friend, Robert “Bob” A. Furedi, age 78, passed away Monday, March 23, 2026.
Bob was born February 10, 1948 in Hazelton, PA to the late John C. Furedi and Stella (Krzmien) Furedi.
Bob proudly served in Vietnam in the US Marine Corps. After serving, he married the beautiful love of his life, Ann Lipovsky. Together, they raised six children; Mary Ann, Miriha, Sarah, Mark, Daniel, and Stephen. Bob also had the pleasure of making many precious memories with his seven grandchildren; Tyler, Scarlett, Mikayla, Landon, Noah, Zachary, and Maximus.
Bob devoted his life to loving and providing for his family. He was a role model of perseverance and had a strong work ethic. He instilled in his family the importance to forgive, love, and take care of each other.
Besides his family, Bob’s greatest joy in life was hiking and exploring Penn’s Woods. His perfect day would be a ten-mile hike at Ricketts Glen State Park.
We will dearly miss his priceless words of wisdom, unique laugh, big smile, his hugs and kisses, and the way his eyes would light up when he saw his family.
“Dad, you often said you had a lot to do and little time to do it in. Your work is done and you can finally rest. You were loved and appreciated more than you will ever know. You will continue to live on in our hearts and memories.”
Forever yours truly, Your Loving Family
