Richard Reiser, 74, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on April 13th at the Meadows Nursing and Rehab Center, Dallas. Born in Johnstown, PA on November 15, 1947, he was a son of the late James and Sarah (Sanner) Reiser. Richard served in the United States Navy and also the Army National Guard for over 25 years. He worked as a counselor in the VA Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre and also helped at the VFW.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine A. (Ricchiuto) Reiser; son, Jason Reiser; brother, James Reiser and wife, Joann and sister, Barbara Walkovich.

Interment with military honors will take place in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA on Wednesday, April 27 at 3:00 PM.
