Rachel (Hooper) Cool, 78, of Swoyersville, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at her daughter's home in Edwardsville.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughte rof the late Claude and Rachael (Amos) Hooper.

She worked as a barmaid in several local taverns.

She is survived by a son, Donald Cool, Swoyersville, two daughters, Cynthia VanKeuren, Swoyersville and Tammy VanKeuren, Edwardsville, 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, Several nieces and nephews.

Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Cool, son, Doug VanKeuren and several brothers.

Private interment services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. at Memorial Shrine Cemetery, W. Wyoming.
