Patricia A. (Swiderski) Goyne

Patricia A. Goyne, 74, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on November 3, 1948, she was a daughter of the late John and Jane (George) Swiderski.

Patricia graduated from Meyers High School in Wilkes-Barre and retired in 2011.

Patricia’s favorite pastime was spending time with her daughters, especially during their Saturday morning breakfast dates, followed by a day of shopping. She was exceptionally proud of her daughters and her grandchildren. Patrica would bend anybody’s ear to tell them all about her family and their accomplishments. She was a member of the Oak Grove Club, where she loved spending time with her closest friends. Some of her favorite hobbies were cooking, baking, camping, and fishing, but she especially enjoyed watching her Philadelphia Eagles and going to bingo with friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kimberly Magda and husband, John, Lisa Kocher and husband, Terry; her grandchildren Matthew and Mark Kocher and Sydney Magda; her siblings, John (Jack) Swiderski and Sharon Kuklewicz and husband, David; and her beloved cat, Chloe.

In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins. Patricia had a special bond with her nephew Michael and her niece Beth Ann.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, 465 S. Main St. Wilkes-Barre, on Tuesday, December 27th.
