Nancy M. (McCann) Hassell, 81, of Plains Twp., formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Wednesday, April 4, at the Gardens at East Mountain, Plains Twp.

Born in Cleveland, OH, on April 6, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Amelia (LeChelt) McCann.

Nancy was of the catholic faith and attended St. Andre Bessette Parish, Wilkes-Barre. She loved to sing, dance and act.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Earl Hassell.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Katherine Clarke and her husband, Mason.

Private services for the family were entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Wilkes-Barre.
