Mary Theresa Klug

Mary Theresa (Williams) Klug, 88, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away on Friday morning, November 10th, surround by her loving family at her home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, on May 9, 1929, she was a daughter of Percy Ellsworth and Mary Josephine (McAdara) Williams.

Mary was a graduated of E.L. Meyers High School.  Mary enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her 10 children. Family was always important to her; she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She always enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and helping family out any way she could.

She was preceded in death by; her loving husband, Robert, who passed away on November 17, 1997, a granddaughter, Miranda Klug, two brothers, Leon and Frank Williams, two sisters, Ruth Alkons and Loretta Prinzo.

Surviving are her five loving daughters, Jacqueline George, Kathleen Langan, Theresa Gensel, Virginia Hughes, Lorraine Kuchta, five sons, Robert Jr., Richard, Gregory, Paul and Phillip Klug, 21 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter, two sisters, Jean Pilchak & Theresa Hainsworth, a brother, Robert Williams, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, with Reverend Joseph D. Verespy officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM till the time of the service.
