Mary Eliza (Curtis) Mccullough

Mary Eliza Curtis McCullough (81) She was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on September 30, 1943. She passed away December 29, 2024, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Plains. She was one of the daughters of the late William and Dorothy (Holloway) Curtis. She was a member of Bible Temple Church, Newark New Jersey, and The Order of the Eastern Star. Mary Eliza enjoyed spending time with family and being a grandmother. She also liked gathering for celebrations and traveling back home to see her family in North Carolina. She also loved crossword puzzles, knitting, and sewing. Her favorite restaurant was Long John silvers. She loved to listen and dance to the song Stand by Me. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Preston McCullough; Son, Carlton Curtis; Sister, Rosa Lee Curtis-Kennedy; Brother, Joseph Curtis, and Eugene Curtis; Brother-In-Law Keith Gilmore; Great Grandson, Jayvon L. Curtis-Uzzell and Rasul K. Curtis-Dunn Mary Eliza Survived by Brother, George Andrew Curtis; Sisters-in-law Moselle Curtis,  Ernestine Curtis, Ethel McCullough and, Patricia Gilmore; Daughters, Belinda L. Curtis-Black, Dorothy Curtis, and Gwendolyn Curtis-Uzzell; Stepson Arthur Bigger; Grandchildren, Keturah E. Curtis, Darnell C. Curtis, Felicia D. Curtis, Courtney Curtis, Jessica M. Curtis, Latiesha M. Curtis, Jacquel D. Uzzell, Moeniesha C. Curtis, Clairmanine O. Curtis, Timothy Z. Tyndall, Kayla E. Tyndall, David E. Tyndall; great grandchildren, Zy'Nasia M. Durant, Nevaeh M Curtis, Molyasia D.
