Marion Rygelski, 75, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, with her daughters by her side, Wednesday at Manor Care, Kingston. Born in Wilkes-Barre on December 15, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Elwood and Nellie (Park) Wachs. Prior to retiring, she was employed by Wilkes-Barre General Hospital in the Environmental/Housekeeping Department for over 20 years. Marion enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Rygelski and a brother, Elwood Wachs. Surviving is her husband, Edward Rygelski; daughters Jane Marlott & husband, Michael, White Haven; Debbie Adams, Edwardsville; grandchildren Kristina Klokus, Jesse Klokus and Kevin Adams, Jr.; sisters Joan Kryger and Sharon Simonetti and husband, Carl and nephews. Private services have been entrusted to Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, 465 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre.
