Marilyn J. Stilp

Marilyn Jane (Lynn) Stilp, 89, of Wilkes-Barre, PA passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025 at Allied Services Hospice Center Wilkes-Barre. Born on June 09, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Alice (Dowling) Lynn. Marilyn was a member of St. Boniface Church and Saint Nicholas- Saint Mary Church, Wilkes- Barre, PA. Marilyn’s working career consisted of being a very professional, dedicated, and skilled private executive secretary for an Insurance Company and then later in life for an Attorney’s office.  After she retired, she was a receptionist for a Nursing Home.  In her free time, she loved to read and spend time with her Family and friends. In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her loving husband of over fifty years, Gerard A. Stilp, Sr.; son Jerry Stilp, Jr.; and brothers: Patrick Lynn and Henry Lynn. Surviving to cherish Marilyn’s legacy are her Children:  daughter, Kathi Bitritto and husband Frank; son, Paul Stilp, wife Sandy, and son Jason; daughter, Mary Ann Nothstein and husband Dr. Gary D. Nothstein; daughter, Susan Skonieczki; and, daughter-in-law Diane Stilp. Grandchildren:  Michael Bitritto;  Jason Stilp; Jessica Pringle and husband Jerry; Jennifer Stilp; Dr. Jared M. Nothstein;  Gregory D. Nothstein; Shane M. Skonieczki;  Seth G. Skonieczki; Samuel R. Skonieczki and wife Nicole.

Great-Grandchildren: Mason Pringle;  Sofia Pringle; Logan Pringle;  Colton Stilp;  Francis Xavier Nothstein; Gabriel Matthew Nothstein; Mary Bernadette Nothstein; and Elliana Grace Nothstein; and sister, Suzanne Lynn. Marilyn was also a beloved Aunt to numerous nephews and nieces. Private Services have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Wilkes-Barre.
