Margaret Bullock

Margaret Jane (Harris) Bullock, 100, passed away on December 18, 2025, at Allied Meade Street Skilled Nursing.

Born on October 7, 1925, she was the daughter of the late David and Edna (Drietel) Harris

Margaret spent the majority of her life working as a caretaker. She was a member of Baptist Tabernacle Church in Hanover Township. In her free time, she loved to play bingo, puzzles and crossword puzzles. She was a talented seamstress and could hand sew anything. She would even make her daughter handmade dresses, and other clothing items for family and friends. But above all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bullock; and siblings, Henry, David, Nelson, Robert, Eugene, Harold, Vince, Mary, and Elizabeth.

Surviving to cherish Margarets memory is daughter, Dorothy Melton; grandchildren, Cindy Saltz and Michelle Furgeson; great grandchildren, Alyssa Shaklee, Michael Bonhamer, Amanda Furgeson, Alison Furgeson, Matthew Furgeson, Bethany Saltz, and Angelica Saltz; and the 5th generation baby boy in June.

A viewing will be held from 2PM-4PM on Monday, December 22 at Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. Funeral service will be at 10AM on Tuesday, December 23 at the funeral home, with Pastor Valerie Black Officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Hanover Green Cemetery.
