Margaret “Peg” Brenner, 86, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Celtic Hospice, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Wilkes-Barre on April 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late George and Florence (Cox) Brenner.

Prior to retiring, Peg was employed by the former Mercy Hospital in the Dietary Department.

Peg was an active member of Baptist Tabernacle, where she was a member of the choir.    She was also a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary with her late mother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Henry.

Surviving are her nieces, Patricia (Thomas) Every; Catherine (David) Musgrave and nephew, Michael (Roseann) Brenner.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Baptist Tabernacle Church, 63 Division St., Wilkes-Barre.  Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Twp.  Friends may call Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.
