Luther John Bergold

Luther John Bergold. 67, of Spring Mills, PA, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at Center Crest Nursing Center, Bellfonte, PA.
Born on September 6, 1947, in Kingston, PA, he was the son of the late Luther L. and Lousie M. (Brew) Bergold. Luther was a 1966 graduate of E.L. Meyers High School.
Luther worked for many years at the Luzerne County Court House as a security guard. He also did private investigating for several years.
He was a former member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and member of the Luzerne County Democratic Party. Luther was the only member of the “ Little People of America” in Wilkes-Barre.
He is survived by; his companion, Rikki Spicer, two daughters, Care Eipper, Exeter, and Alita Brennan, West Pittston, 7 grandchildren, cousins, John and Ann Bergold and Georgine Constanzo.
A Celebration of Life Service will be celebrated at the Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, on Friday evening, February 20, at 6:00PM with Reverend Peter Kuritz, of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wilkes-Barre, officiating. Interment will be private in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township.
A viewing will be held on Friday from 5:00PM till the time of the service.
