Lisa J. Hunnicutt, of Wilkes-Barre, 53, passed away on June 5, 2015, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital after a brief illness.

Born on June 24, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was a daughter of Mary (Fields) Hunnicutt, Garland, TX, and the late Albert Denzmore.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre.  Lisa had a kind heart and was always willing to help others.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Beaver, 4 brothers, Darrell, Edward, Larry, Bradley Hunnicutt.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving companion of 13 years, Eugene Walters, her loving son, Alex II, Wilkes-Barre, a grand daughter, Lakisha, great grandson, Alex III; sisters, Phyllis Edwards, Garland, TX; Christine Blake, Belleville, IL; Alma J. Denzmore, Aurora, CO and Bernice Denzmore, East St. Louis, IL and brothers, Clifford Fields, IL.; Charles Fields; Carl Jackson, Cahokia, IL; Rodney E. Denzmore, Newark, NJ; James Denzmore, Cahokia, IL; a host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11:00AM at Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.

Visitation will be held from 10 AM till the time of the service.
