Lillie C. (Weaver) Nesbitt

Lillie C. Nesbitt, 60, of Mountain Top, passed away Sunday, the evening of November 9th at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Trenton, NJ on September 5, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Charles "Pete" and Dorothy "Dutch" (Gilbert) Weaver.

Lillie was the hostess with the mostest.  She was most passionate about holiday decorating, finding the best deals and family barbecues. She had a heart of gold, extending generosity to all those around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Robert Nesbitt, who passed away on September 30, 2014; her grandma, Ida Gilbert, brothers Butchy and Skippy; and her cousin-in-law, Johnny “Rambo” Hungarter.

Surviving are her loving daughters, Robbin Nesbitt,  and Mary Nesbitt-Gibbons and her husband, Daniel;  brothers Michael "Mikey", Herbert "Herbie", Timothy "Timmy", Richard "Richie" and twins Charles "Chuck" and Joseph "Joey" Weaver; sisters Mary “Mitzy” Larr, Lorraine “Lori” Smith and Susan “Susie” Heck; her beloved cats, Kitty and Mocha.

A visitation will be held at Kniffen O’Malley Funeral Home, 465 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with Services at 8:00 p.m. Pastor Janell Wigen will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Critical Care Unit of Geisinger Medical Center and may be made at the funeral home.
