Kathryn M (Birdsall) Doornbos

Kathryn M. (Birdsall) Doornbos, 72, of Dallas, Pa, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Allied Hospice, Wilkes Barre, PA. Born in Margaretville, NY, on November 28, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Myrle (Lloyd) Birdsall. Kathryn was an elder member of The Presbyterian Church, South Kortright, NY. She had a love of cats, especially Siamese. She liked to spend her time crafting, making stuffed animals for craft shows, and handmade greeting cards. Kathryn enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved her three grandchildren deeply. Left to cherish her memory are her son Dane Doornbos and his wife Jessica ; grandchildren, Gavyn, Rowyn, and Declyn Doornbos; and her brother Edward Birdsall, all of Dallas, PA. A live streamed memorial service will be held for Kathryn on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 12:00-2:00 PM at Kniffen O'Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 465 S Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.
