Joseph A. Morris

Joseph Anthony Morris Jr. age 71, born in Queens, NY and living in Wilkes-Barre, PA, passed away on December 10, 2024. He was was preceded in death by his wife Virginia "Ginger" Morris and sister JoAnn Morris. He is survived by siblings: Michael Morris (Kathy Morris), Patrica Morris McAleney (Robert McAleney), and Janet Morris Amodie. Children: Daniel Palma, William Morris (Jacquelyn Morris), and Joseph Charles Morris. Grandchildren: Daniel Palma, Colette Palma, Patrick Palma, Ava Morris, and William Morris.

Joe was a beloved and hard working family man, working multiple jobs to help make ends meet right until the day he had his first stroke and was forced to stop. He loved good food, his family, the Yankees, and music. Especially Moody Blues and the Allman Brothers, whose concerts he went to with his beloved wife whenever possible. He was also never afraid to be the butt of a joke, for he loved to make people laugh. Nothing brought more joy and energy into Joe than his grandchildren who he loved more than anything in this world. He will be cremated and interned privately per his wishes.
