Joseph M. Hasan

Joseph M. Hasan, 30, of Bear Creek, passed away on January 16, 2020, at home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, on April 28,1989, he was a son of the late Naji Hasan and Sandra (Gross) Hasan, Bear Creek. Joe was a son, father, brother, boyfriend and friend.

A graduate of Coughlin, 2007, Joe worked in many trades. Most recently at All Door Sales, where his coworkers treated him like family. He loved spending his free time with family, especially his daughter, Harlowe and son, Jacob. Joe was the type of person who would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. He was a handyman and outdoorsman who enjoyed riding his quad. Joe could fix anything with wheels and a motor and was always the go-to guy for advice with car trouble.

Joe was preceded in death by; his father, Naji Hasan, grandfather Joseph Gross, and uncle, Abdel Sumrin.

Joe leaves behind his mother, Sandra Hasan, uncle Vince “Beeb” Gross, brothers Adam (Jessica), Sharif, sisters, Najia (Mark) and Nour (Bryan) , son Jacob, and daughter Harlowe, and his partner and love Mariel Yedlock.

A memorial service celebrating Joe’s life will be held on Friday at 6:00PM from Kniffen O’Malley Leffler Funeral & Cremation Services, 465 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, with Rev. Hadley Hayes, of Bear Creek Messiah Primitive Methodist Church officiating.

A visitation will be held from 5:00PM till the time of the services.
